Iran acknowledges US strikes after Trump confirms bombs were dropped on Fordow nuclear facility
Iran has acknowledged its Fordow nuclear facility was attacked during a strike carried out by the US military today.
Iran's state-run IRNA news agency early on Sunday quoted a statement from Iran's Qom province after US President Donald Trump confirmed the strikes in a post to social media.
IRNA said: "A few hours ago, when Qom air defenses were activated and hostile targets were identified, part of the Fordow nuclear site was attacked by enemies."
