US President Donald Trump has met with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the first time since their stunning blow-up in the Oval office in late February. Both the White House and Zelenskyy's office confirmed the meeting, which took place today in the hours before both men joined other world leaders and an estimated 200,000 Catholic faithful to farewell Pope Francis in St Peter's Square at the Vatican. Pope has respiratory tract infection, is in fair condition and running mild fever, Vatican says

Pope Francis was hospitalised Friday (local time) after a weeklong bout of bronchitis worsened and was receiving drug therapy for a respiratory tract infection, the Vatican said. It was the latest setback to the 88-year-old’s pontiff’s health that forced him to cancel his agenda through Monday at least.
