Prince Harry shows no sign of defeat as he carries on with UK visit after court case loss

If Prince Harry was feeling defeated after his High Court loss earlier this week, he showed no signs of it as he stepped out in Birmingham on Thursday (Friday morning AEST). The Duke of Sussex was at his royal best as he met with sick children, their families and nurses at Birmingham Children’s Hospital to celebrate the 20th anniversary of WellChild’s specialist nurse program. ‘Should have happened in secret’: Why the Sussex show is best left for America

Opinion: The Duke of Sussex is said to be “desperate” for his children to see their grandfather, King Charles, yet is partially to blame for creating the unnecessary drama surrounding his planned return to the UK with Meghan. The Sussex family’s long-awaited visit to Britain for the first time in four years – including Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet – is proving to be the biggest royal story of the year and it hasn’t even happened yet. Harry and Meghan's plans to bring their children to the UK to see their grandfather is now under consideration. Getty/Graphic: Tara Blancato Ongoing concerns around the level of security Prince Harry and his family will receive appears to be the main sticking point after the duke was denied taxpayer-funded police protection for the five-day to...

After disputing that reporters used legitimate sources to publish revealing details of his life, he provided an emotional glimpse into the toll that a life in the spotlight and his battle against the British media had taken on him and his family. "They continue to come after me, they have made my wife's life an absolute misery," he said as he choked back tears in London's High Court on Wednesday (Thursday AEDT). Prince Harry ordered to pay Daily Mail publisher legal fees for failed court challenge

A judge has ordered Prince Harry pay nearly £50,000 ($96,000) in legal fees to the publisher of the Daily Mail tabloid for his failed court challenge in a libel lawsuit. The Duke of Sussex is suing Associated Newspapers Ltd. over an article that said Harry tried to hide his efforts to retain publicly funded protection in the UK after leaving his role as a working member of the royal family. Justice Matthew Nicklin ruled Friday in the High Court in London that the publisher has a “real prospect” of showing that statements issued on Harry’s behalf were misleading and that the February 2022 article reflected an “honest opinion” and wasn't libellous. “The defendant may well submit that this was a masterclass in the art of ‘spinning,’” Nicklin wrote, in refusing to strike t...
