PA Media The then Taoiseach (Irish prime minister) Simon Harris was the first international leader to be hosted at Chequers under Starmer's premiership On 21 July 2024, the sun was blazing down on Chequers, the British prime minister's countryside residence. In the Hawtrey Room, two newly-crowned prime ministers - Sir Keir Starmer and Taoiseach (Irish prime minister) Simon Harris - were laughing. Bitcoin price has fallen by 50 per cent in less than a year. Why?

Nearly a year ago, bitcoin reached its highest ever price as it surged to over $US124,000 in value. Elon Musk's SpaceX was recently publicly traded...

The Iranian joint military command said the strait was shut in response to ongoing Israeli attacks in Lebanon, and said while its negotiators are going to Switzerland for talks, not much is likely to happen there. The Strait of Hormuz has been closed again. Getty Key mediator Pakistan, meanwhile, said the technical-level talks will begin on Sunday in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, with Qatari mediators also participating.
