Aussie driver Oscar Piastri wins F1’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix to take overall lead

Oscar Piastri went top of the Formula 1 standings with victory at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on Monday. Piastri started second alongside Max Verstappen and took the lead after Verstappen had to serve a five-second penalty. Verstappen was penalised for driving off the track when battling for the lead with Piastri at the very first corner. Piastri argued he had got in front of Verstappen on the inside of the corner. “Once I got on the inside, I wasn’t coming out of turn one in second," Piastri said. Ireland's data privacy watchdog said on Friday it's investigating Elon Musk's social media platform X over its use of personal data to train his artificial intelligence chatbot Grok. The Data Protection Commission said it has opened an inquiry into "the processing of personal data comprised in publicly-accessible posts" that European users posted on X. Plane carrying three people crashes in South Florida near a major highway

A small plane carrying three people crashed on Friday morning in South Florida near a major interstate highway and pushed a car onto railroad tracks, officials said. Boca Raton police said several roads near the Boca Raton Airport were closed near Interstate 95 after the plane went down shortly after 10am (midnight AEST) local media reported the plane was on fire and firefighters were responding.
